Meet Our Management Team
Psy.D  Emily Chin
Co-Founder and CEO 

Emily is the co-founder and executive director of New Age Owls,  which was established as a movement to encourage gifted home-schooling in Singapore when her family was relocated back to Singapore in November 2017.  Prior this, Emily has years of homeschooled experience to her children and students.  While establishing the school, Emily is also a freelance college academic advisor with the homeschool community of Singapore and expat community of Shanghai.   

Emily was also the co-founder and chairlady of the Stallion winter sports Club in Shanghai, a non-profit ice hockey and synchronizing figure skating foundation in Shanghai.  She was also the Chairlady of the Dyslexia Association Shanghai which she co-founded with a group of parents in 2012. 

Prior dedicating her passion of teaching next generation for 15 years, Emily was an energetic VP of Business Development and Corporate Communication of Siteforum GMBH (based in San Jose, USA) and Boston Consulting Group (based in Hong Kong).   She contributed as an intern to full time social work counselor for Domestic Violence Sector and Big Brother Sector at Donaldina Cameron House, based in San Francisco.   She continued to serve as volunteer to DCS after she switched her career to marketing specialist.   

Emily holds a Psy.D degree from University of Washington, USA; M.B.A. from University of Berkeley, California.; USA. Double Majors Degree in Psychology and Marketing from Wartburg College, USA; and graduated from Singapore American High School.  

YonHao Chin
Co-Founder, Group Chairman

YonHao Chin is a co-founder and chairman of New Age Owls Group, the solely online high school with integrate music academy in the world.  Prior to this, he is a successful Senior Finance Commercial Operation and Strategic Management  with almost 30 years of experiences includes managing diversified business team of global companies of over $1.5 billion in revenue sales with significant business presence in China, South East Asia, Europe, Middle East, Latin America and U.S.A.  

Feng Feng
Co-Founder and China CEO

At age 17, Feng Feng left his Nanjing hometown and embarked his 8 years full scholarship education from Singapore Ministry of Education in Singapore.  Throughout his 8 years exposure, Feng Feng met plenty of worldwide talented professionals and exposed to banking securities management systems during his banking career.  He believes that success is via disciplinary hardworking and humbleness of learning.  He is devoted to boosting the success of more fellow junior students in the hope that they will realize their dreams in near future without any geographical boundaries.  Hence, he co-founded New Age Owls with Emily and YonHao.

Feng Feng plans to pursue his M.B.A. program by year 2021 while devoting his entrepreneurship into New Age Owls and Financial Management programs to his fellow juniors.  Feng Feng holds CFA charter and Bachelor Degree with major in Computer Engineering and minor in Information Systems with Summa Cum Laude.

Ph.D Krystian Tkaczewski
Co-founder and Artistic Director of NAOMA

Krystian Tkaczewski is pursuing his splendid piano career in USA, Asia and Europe. In 2014, Krystian received Doctor of Musical Arts degree from Hartt School, University of Hartford (Oxana Yablonskaya). Krystian has been a laureate of over 25 international competitions in countries: Greece, Italy, Spain, Macedonia, Czech Republic and USA.

His presentation on interpretation of Chopin’s Mazurkas attracted numerous music institutions around world. Krystian is artistic director of Chopin International Piano Competition in Hartford, International Festival “Lato z Chopinem”, Paderewski International Competition in Farmington, Tkaczewski International Competition in Busko-Zdroj, Future Stars International Piano Competition, Krogulski International Competition, Ambassador of Tarnow Maestro Krystian Tkaczewski and his Guests.

Dr. Tkaczewski has been frequently invited to adjudicate at international  competitions:  Damascus, Vienna (Marciano), Budapest (Chopin), Osaka, Los Angeles (Liszt), Ragusa, San Jose, Troisdorf,  Rabat, Perth, Buffalo, Tokyo (Chopin) New York (Gershwin), Campillos, Brussels, , Monterrey, Singapore (Steinway), Madrid , Cantu, Barletta.

Krystian concertized on five continents and 35 countries including famous venues as Carnegie Hall and Hong Kong City Hall and Chopin Festivals: Marienbad, Gaming, Antonin, Budapest, Busko-Zdroj, Kosovo. In 2006 Krystian featured with Polish Radio Orchestra during 50th Anniversary of Society of Polish  Musicians in Royal Castle in Warsaw.

Tkaczewski received prestigious title- Ambassador of Tarnow, for promoting his hometown in the world. He received Medal of Merit to Polish Culture.

 

Dr. Tkaczewski received prestigious “Extraordinary Ability in Arts” permanent residency in USA as one of a small percentage of those who have risen to the top in their field of endeavor.

Rothschild Lin, M.P.H. Imperial College London
co-founder and China COO

Rothschild is a data analysis management  of public health researcher focusing on global epidemiological study on hypertension and stroke at the World Health Organization (WHO) center in London.  The outstanding of his big data analytical research skills have led him to involve on various major global projects.  Theses include the May Measurement Month (MMM) of global cross sectional study of blood pressure screening of cardiovascular risk factors with more than 4.2 million and 145 million participants in 89 countries in year 2017 and 2018 respectively.  Lin holds a Master Degree  of Public Health (Honor) from Imperial College London and obtained his megna cum laude of Bachelor Degree in Food Science at Iowa State University, U.S.A.

Bryan Lee
Co-founder of Absolute Harp of NAOMA

Harpist Bryan Lee is an active and ardent orchestral player; in addition to being one of the founding members of the Malaysian Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, he has played with the Penang Philharmonic Orchestra, the Orchestra of the Music Makers on their Penang tour, the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory Orchestra, and the the Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre Orchestra and Choir. He was also selected to be a member of the 2010 Youth Olympics Games Orchestra.

Bryan holds  a Bachelors Degree (Honours) from the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music, National University of Singapore with full scholarship under the tutelage of Gulnara Mashurova, Principal Harpist of the Singapore Symphony Orchestra. His previous mentors have included Sebastien Horrer, the former Principal Harpist of the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra, his wife Marianne Horrer, and Chu Yee Chern. He has also taken lessons with Xavier de Maistre, Prof. Florence Sitruk, who wrote that Bryan has “beautiful sound (and) flawless technique”, Dan Yu, and Alice Giles.

Shabab Hannan, Ph.D.  University of Tübingen, Germany
STEM Program Honorary Global Advisor 

Shabab's interest in Biology and Chemistry dates back to his school days, thanks to some inspiring teachers he encountered in his childhood. After completing high school from Dhaka, Bangladesh, Shabab received a scholarship of excellence to study Neuroscience at University College London, UK, for a Bachelor degree. This was the beginning of a journey that led Shabab to embark in a career of research and teaching. Shabab is currently a researcher at one of the top Neuroscience research institutes in Germany.

Shabab completed his Ph.D program in the year 2018 investigating the interplay between different genes involved in neurodegenerative disorders. Prior to his doctoral studies, Shabab did his Master degree in Neuroscience from the Graduate School of Cellular and Molecular Neuroscience at the University of Tübingen in Germany.

Shabab wants to share his knowledge and experience with those who will benefit the most-students studying for AP and A-level as well as those who want to attend top medical schools.

Wang Xi, PhD John Hopkins University, U.S.A.
Academy Advisor of STEM 

Wang Xi majored in Biotechnology at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (China), where he became an two-time National Scholarship and CSC Funding recipient. He is now dedicated to biomedical research and pursuing a doctoral degree in Biomedical Engineering at Johns Hopkins University (US). Looking back on his own experience, Wang believes high school is the most critical stage for students to develop life-long interests in STEM related subjects, therefore he is always excited to make contributions to high school education.

YangZhi Lee, Ph.D.  SUTD, Singapore 

Born in a hometown of "Panda", Chengdu in Sichuan province of China, Yangzhi has strong passion on nature and outdoor sports.  When he was 17, Yangzhi was awarded full scholarship program from Ministry of Education of Singapore to pursue his Bachelor and his Ph.D programs with emphasizing in intelligent robot control via optimization.   Since then, YangZhi started his years of research in education experiences in Singapore Universities (National University of Singapore and Singapore University of Technology Design). and represented SUTD as exchange program with MIT of U.S.A.   Yangzhi has been working as Assistant Professor to his relevant subject courses and hence, he devoted to the passion in teaching and sharing knowledge his juniors and students.  Yangzhi indulges himself with spices feast and plays basketball and cycling on his spare time.  I hope the time we spent studying together will be full of joy and memories!

 

Sundar Subramaniam, M.B.A., Malaysia

 

Born in a hometown of "Sungai Petani", in the state of Kedah is currently residing in the city of Johor Bahru in the state of Johor, in Malaysia.

Sundar obtained his EMBA programs while working in MNC manufacturing industries for more than 30 years.  His hands on knowledges of industry  in Accounting, Supply Chain and Operations Management experiences have always been widely shared with his students in his classroom. 

Sundar has more than 12 years of teaching experiences in business related subjects in  IGCSE, A-level, and IB programs.  

Meng Min, M. S. Cornell University, U.S.A. 

Meng Min received his Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry with the highest honor from Grinnell College, and subsequently his M.S. in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University, with a research focus on the computational modeling of novel materials. Throughout the years he became proficient with both the theory and practice of various chemistry subjects. Meanwhile, the education he received has made him realize the transformative power of well-rounded, globalized education in cultivating one’s comprehensive skills and enriching one’s mind. With extensive experience in college and graduate school applications, he wishes to assist new-generation Chinese students in gaining acceptance into top-tier programs to fulfill their academic dreams.

Meet our Orchestral Musicians and Instructors  
Andrii Kreshchenskyi,  M.S. 
Artistic Director NAOMA String Department and Conservatory Advisor 

Andrii Kreshchenskyi is a Ukrainian violinist. He was born in Ukraine into a musical family so all his life music was right around him. Andrii started playing violin at the age of six. His first, and the most inspiring teacher was his father who is the violin professor at the State Musical College. His mother was his first accompanist and a great support as an ensemble partner. In 2007 Andrii received an Artist Diploma and a Master’s Degree from Lviv National Musical Academy where he trained as a concert solo performer, chamber musician and as an orchestra member.

In 2007, as a member of a chamber duo, he got a diploma of the Rubinstein chamber music competition in Moscow.

The first orchestral experience Andrii gained with the Lviv Chamber Orchestra “Academia” under direction of the famous Ukrainian composer, Myroslav Skoryk. 

Subsequently, as a member of K&K Philharmoniker, he was the Principal of the Second Violins and later, the concertmaster of the orchestra.

Andrii has collaborated with many conductors including Alexander Rumpf, Georg Kugi, Martin Kerschbaum, Thomas Mandl, Olivier Ochanine and others. He has toured many European countries and has performed in some of the best concert halls including the Gewandhaus Leipzig, Tonhalle Düsseldorf, Alte Oper Frankfurt, Stockholm Konserthuset, Oslo Concert Hall, Copenhagen DR Koncerthuset, Wiener Musikverein, Victoria Hall Geneve, KKL Luzern etc.

Since October 2018 Andrii Kreshchenskyi has been a member of a Sun Symphony Orchestra and later, in May 2018, has become its Principal Second Violin and a section leader.

Together with an orchestral activity Andrii is an enthusiastic chamber musician.

Delphine Leong, Pianist, China.
Conservatory Advisor

Delphine Leong is an eminent young pianist award winner from China with worldwide performance experiences as soloist, duet, accompaniment and chamber music concerts.   These include 1st prize at PIARA Piano Competition under macao division in Japan, and plenty worldwide footprint performance of her at France, Switzherland and China.   Her passionate of music endeavor since age of 4.   She obtained her Bachelor of Music under the tutelage of Professors Francaise BUFFET-ARSENIJEVIC, ,Renaat Beheydt, ZhuMei and JinLai.  

 

Delphin has been teaching for the last 8 years both online and off-line. Under her well guidance,  all students,  who participated in competition and/or examinations have achieved well results.  These examination boards include the China Music Institute, the Central Music Institute, ABRSM, LCM (London Exams in England), RCM (Emperor Exams in Canada). 

Currently, Ms. Leong is pursuing her Dual Master Degrees in Piano Perfomance and Chamber Music at the world renown Ecole normale de musique de Paris under Professor Veronique Bonnecaze, and  Chantal de Buchy.

Ilona Grushynska, M.S. Ukraine

Conservatory Advisor

Ilona Grushynska is an Ukrainian cellist. She was born in 1988 in Latvia and started to play cello at the age of 7 years old. 

Ilona holds Master’s Degree from R.Glier Kyiv Institute of Music (Kyiv, Ukraine) under Elena Chervova where she started to be trained as a soloist, chamber musician and as an orchestra member. She gained her first orchestral experiences with the Kyiv Fantastic Orchestra and Kyiv Symphony Orchestra. Subsequently, in the K&K Philharmoniker where she had been working during 7 years, she was the tutti and later the assistant principal. 

As a member of K&K Philharmoniker she has collaborated with many conductors including Alexander Rumpf, Georg Kugi, Martin Kerschbaum, Thomas Mandl and others. She has toured many European countries and has to performed in the in some of the best concert halls including the Gewandhaus Leipzig, Tonhalle Düsseldorf, Alten Oper Frankfurt, Stockholm 

Konserthuset, Oslo Concert Hall, Copenhagen DR Koncerthuset, Wiener Musikverein Victoria Hall Geneve, KKL Luzern etc.) 

As a professional cello and music theory teacher she has been working more than 11 years. She started to teach when she was a student of Zhytomyr Music College (Ukraine).
